Now

Updated September 18th from my office in central Stockholm. Fall is approaching like a crisp slap in the face, surprising yet refreshing.

Numbery

I run a small company in Stockholm Sweden called Numbery. We build solutions to make numbers a breeze for small companies. Friendly finance we call it. You can check it out at https://app.numbery.se.

We also provide fractional CFO services which mostly revolves around setting up smart and automated reporting formats for ambitious companies with curious investors.

Programming

I used to work in finance and for a long while I put myself solidly in the business box. It’s been around 4 years now since I punched my way out and since then I can’t stop discovering new things to learn. Programming has been the constant.

I’m currently leaning into some new subjects after going all in on web development and full stack NextJS for a while. Right now brushing up on systems design with Designing Data-Intensive Applications by Martin Kleppman. It’s a bit of a brick so I suspect it will take me a minute. In parallell I’m trying to do interview exercises with an eye on setting myself up to be an employable code cowboy in the future.

Just for fun

I got married this summer, getting used to calling my partner wife.

Discovering new places to eat and drink, date night is the best night.

Road, gravel and mountainbiking south of Stockholm.

Running as far as my knees will carry me. Usually not that far.

Finding my way back to childhood pleasure of casual gaming when time allows.
